Argentinian producer ReyMod, known for his distinctive and unique style, returns with a new single titled “Wonders”. This atmospheric and immersive track is a reimagining of one of ReyMod’s earliest creations from 1995, when he was a teenager experimenting with the 8-bit software ModEdit, which limited compositions to just four channels. With this modernized version, ReyMod has successfully preserved the nostalgic essence of that era while integrating today’s advanced production tools.
Influenced by his roots in the old-school Techno House, ReyMod has crafted a sound that is uniquely his own, characterized by enveloping synthesizers, deep basslines, and subtle vocals, all wrapped in a futuristic, sci-fi atmosphere. “Wonders” stands out with its minimalist, hypnotic, and repetitive structure, capable of transporting listeners to introspective and futuristic soundscapes.
ReyMod’s name derives from his love for the MOD format, a staple of the Tracker era on the legendary Amiga computers, which sparked his passion for electronic music. He began his journey in the 90s as a hobby, using the 1991 shareware “ModEdit”, and participating in Spain’s “Future Music” magazine’s “Tracker Club”. At the time, ReyMod would send his demos, which were published on the magazine’s accompanying CD, helping him evolve as an artist while maintaining his signature style.
Today, in addition to producing House music, ReyMod dedicates his time to helping other producers gain visibility through his website reymod.com, fostering collaboration and growth within the electronic music community.
