The livestream dialogue airs today Friday July 10th at 4 PM PST / 7 PM EST and will be hosted on mitú’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel. Reaching an average of +80k in viewership, “CONCIENCIA TALK” is rapidly becoming one of the most talked about and highly regarded series in the Latinx industry.
Today’s discussion features Brazilian drag queen, activist and singer-songwriter Pabllo Vittar, Cuban-American pansexual songstress and activist Lauren Jauregui, who uses her platform to champion racial equality, immigration issues, criminal justice and the LGBTQIA+ community, Bisexual Mexican-American singer-songwriter, producer and fashion designer Tatiana Hazel, who has long been vocal about the importance of supporting Black trans lives, and Urias, a model and up-and-coming transgender musician who has made it her mission to highlight the need for LGBTQIA+ representation in her native Brazil. The conversation will be moderated by Mr. David Johns from the National Black Justice Coalition, who has built his career around advocacy for youth and the empowerment of Black lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQIA+) people.

Conciencia Collective, is an alliance against racial and social injustice comprised of +35 executives from the Latin music industry including activists, journalists, artist managers, publicists, lawyers, directors, and on-air personalities who came together in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement to create awareness about racial and social injustice with the intention to educate our colleagues, artists, and peers of influence in order to gain their advocacy. Our ongoing initiatives also focus on the many issues affecting our Latin community.
