Goya and Latin Grammy Winner, TWANGUERO is considered one of the best guitarists in Spain. The Internationally renowned songwriter-producer is known for his unique Latin-Twang sound, from Spanish guitar, American folk, flamenco and tango, and for his impeccable fingerpicking style. The “fire -breathing guitar hero” launched his solo career, after accompanying giant Latin artists; Bunbury, Calamaro, El Cigala, among others.
Twanguero presents first single/video, Gypsy Lady, an advance from his forthcoming album that will be released in the spring of 2018. The artist has been working on his new album in  Madrid, Colorado and Los Angeles, the city where the artist currently resides. The video was shot in it’s entirety in Los Angles ans was directed by the filmmaker Jaime Valdueza and produced by Isabel Ferrer and Carlos Mestanza (American Road Films). The single was recorded in East West studios in LA and produced by Juan de Dios Martin.
Twanguero’s music transends his audience to their own movie with his seductive melodies as well as electrifying riffs and solos, AND the one and only touch of his golden Gibson, pioneer of ‘Latin-Twang”. His last album, Carretaras Secundarias Vol. 1 was written while on a six-month road-trip that started in Chicago and took him to the Patagonia. The album recently received three nominations to “Premios MIN” in Spain and includes nominations for, “Best Album”, “Best Video” and “Best Live Video Performance” for the live show on Radio 3 RTVE.
Twanguero has played and recorded with artists of the likes of Andrés Calamaro, Santiago Auserón, Diego El Cigala, Juanes, Wyclef Jean, Jaime Urrutia, Fito Páez, Enrique Bunbury, Ely Guerra, Raphael, Camilo Sesto, Ana Torroja, José María Cano, Yerbabuena, Adriana Varela and Diego Torres, and has participated in a multitude of productions for TV, Original Soundtraks of Cinema and Radio in Spain, Argentina, United States and Mexico.
In April Twanguero will  bring his guitar-bender style to the stages in California before releasing his new album. New show dates will be announced soon.
